Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead Oracle-centric data pipelines and analytics platforms across heterogeneous systems. You will design, implement and optimize complex database solutions using Oracle, Vertica, and SQL/PLSQL, while guiding a team of developers and collaborating with product owners.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of job related experience required.
• Experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Oracle data integration pipelines.
• Experience automating Oracle processes using job schedulers (Autosys preferred).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integrity and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery across Oracle-centric data pipelines.
• Adheres to enterprise standards for design, coding and quality, ensuring minimal technical debt.
• Guides the team on work breakdown, planning and estimation while mentoring others.
• Collaborates with Product Owner to maintain healthy backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Perform logical and physical data modeling and create/maintain runbooks and training materials.
