Job summary

Publicis Groupe ANZ invites a Manager, Data Engineering to lead scalable data pipelines and production-grade solutions for Infinite Roar, Publicis Media’s fast-growing agency. You will partner with Analytics, Audience Strategy, and Platform Intelligence to deliver data products, APIs, and AI-enabled workflows.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data/platform engineering, expertise in Python/SQL, Databricks, Docker, and cloud-based architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years in data/ platform engineering or related roles.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with production data pipelines and cloud-based apps.
• Experience building APIs, backend services, and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with Databricks and modern data platforms.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, security, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Develop workflows for analytics, automation, reporting, and AI-enabled apps.
• Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and security.
• Transform prototypes into production-ready services and reusable components.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Build and maintain APIs and backend services for internal and client-facing use.
• Apply modern software practices including testing, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor others.
