Job summary

The Helper Bees is seeking a Manager of Data Engineering & Analytics to lead the Data Engineering and Analytics team and drive the company’s data strategy. You will partner with leaders across Product, Accounts, Operations, and the C‑suite to deliver accurate, timely data reports, analyses and dashboards, while pushing AI-enabled solutions in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Strong ability to communicate data strategy to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience building and scaling data warehouses and modern pipelines.
• Familiarity with HIPAA/PHI handling in healthcare contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Engineering & Analytics team with mentorship and accountability.
• Design and maintain data products using Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow, and BigQuery.
• Own intake, triage, and prioritization of work; ensure transparent backlog in Jira.
• Develop governed, automated data models and reporting for stakeholders.
• Lead ML initiatives for forecasting, recommendations, and clustering with governance.
