Job summary

RightMove Health is seeking a Director of Data & Analytics to lead our data platform, analytics, and governance. This remote role with East Coast preference will own the modern data stack (Snowflake, AWS) and drive trusted data for clinical, product, and operations teams.

You will build ingestion pipelines from EHR, claims, CRM, and engagement systems; develop KPI frameworks for patient outcomes and quality measures; and mentor a growing data team while partnering with security and engineering

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in data engineering or analytics, with healthcare context.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (or Redshift/BigQuery) and ETL tools (Fivetran, dbt).
• Strong SQL and data modeling; fluency in Python or similar for data transformation.
• Proven ability to design dashboards and reports for diverse audiences (Sigma, Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, claims, eligibility, encounters).
• Comfortable operating as builder and strategic advisor — from schema design to executive storytelling.
• Excellent communicator translating complex data concepts for clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.
• Exposure to machine‑learning or AI‑driven analytics pipelines.
• Preferred experience in value-based care, population health, or payer/provider analytics.
• Familiarity with AWS data services (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern data stack with Snowflake, AWS, and BI tools.
• Build automated ingestion pipelines from EHR, claims, CRM, and engagement systems.
• Establish data models supporting population health and outcomes reporting.
• Develop KPI frameworks to track patient outcomes, quality measures (STARS/HEDIS), and operational performance.
• Provide data governance, lineage, and access controls aligned with HIPAA.
• Partner with security and engineering to ensure privacy and safety by design.
• Serve as the data thought-partner for technical and non-technical teams.
• Occasionally join customer conversations to shape reporting and insight delivery.
• Hire, mentor, and scale a small data team over time.
