Job summary

Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and consumers. The Cost Roll Data Engineer role focuses on supporting and maintaining data workflows that aggregate healthcare claims data and ensure precise provider demographic matching, preserving data pipeline integrity for downstream financial and clinical systems.

You will validate data, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to bolster data processing, reporting, and operational reliability

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in data roles.
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Advanced Excel including macros.
• Data import/export and validation.
• Experience with healthcare claims processing and provider data matching.
• Ability to maintain data accuracy and reliability across systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor data workflows that aggregate healthcare claims data for the Cost Roll process.
• Validate and reconcile claims and provider demographic data to ensure accurate provider matching and data quality.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data issues that could impact systems.
• Perform data validation, quality checks, and operational support activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support data processing, reporting, and reliability initiatives.
