Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer in People Analytics to build data warehouses, pipelines, and analytics for HR and workforce insights in cloud platforms. This is an individual contributor role with technical leadership and collaboration with HR and IT teams.

You will design ETL/ELT processes, ensure data quality, and enable reproducible analytics in Python, SQL, and BI tools. A Bachelor’s in CS or related field is required, with 3+ years in data engineering and full-time weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years' experience programming in Python for data manipulation.
• 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years' experience with data warehousing solutions.
• 2+ years' experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes for HR data.
• Develop and optimize data workflows for data accuracy and availability.
• Oversee a team of data engineers and promote best practices.
• Structure data for analysis and enable reproducible workflows in Python/SQL.
• Ensure data governance and security adherence for HR data.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and People Analytics to meet business needs.
