CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer for People Analytics to design and manage data pipelines, models, and workflows that support HR analytics in cloud platforms. You will lead a team of data engineers, ensure data quality, and collaborate with HR and IT to deliver actionable insights.

The role emphasizes data governance, security, and scalable analytics across HR domains. A strong background in ETL, SQL, Python, and cloud data warehousing is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years' experience programming in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis.
• 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms, prefer GCP (may consider Azure or AWS).
• 2+ years' experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• 2+ years' experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer.

Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Management: Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes that integrate HR data from various systems.
• Data Engineering and Transformation: Develop and optimize data workflows for accuracy and availability across HR and business units.
• Technical Leadership: Oversee a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and coding standards guidance.
• Analytics & Reporting Support: Structure data for analysis, develop data models, and support reproducible workflows for analytics tools.
• Data Security and Compliance: Ensure governance and security protocols for HR data confidentiality.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with HR leaders and IT to understand requirements and provide insights.
