Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer - People Analytics to design and manage data warehouse models and data pipelines in cloud platforms for workforce analytics. You will work with HR and business units to ensure data accuracy and availability for reporting in R, Python, and other tools.

The role requires 3+ years in Data Engineering, experience with SQL, ETL/ELT, and cloud data platforms; a Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years' experience programming in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis.
• 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms, prefer GCP (may consider Azure or AWS).
• 2+ years' experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• 2+ years' experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Develop and optimize data workflows for accuracy and availability.
• Oversee a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Structure data for analysis and create reproducible workflows for reporting.
• Ensure data governance and security per company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and People Analytics to support strategic decisions.
