Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer - People Analytics to design and build data pipelines and data warehouse models for HR analytics in cloud platforms. The role is a technical developer and individual contributor within the People Analytics Data Engineering team.

You will lead data workflows, ensure data quality and security, mentor engineers, and enable reproducible analytics using Python, SQL, and other tools across HR and business units.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years ETL/ELT with multiple data sources and pipelines.
• 3+ years SQL and relational database experience.
• 2+ years Python for data manipulation and automation.
• 3+ years cloud platform experience (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years with data warehousing (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes for HR data.
• Develop and optimize data workflows for accuracy and availability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the data engineering team.
• Structure data for analysis and create reproducible workflows with Python/R.
• Ensure data governance and security aligned with company policies.
• Collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to deliver insights.
