Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer for People Analytics to design data models and pipelines in cloud platforms, delivering analysis-ready data. You will drive data engineering efforts and collaborate with HR and IT to support strategic decisions.

Responsibilities include building scalable data workflows, ensuring data quality and security, and enabling reproducible analytics with Python, SQL, and BI tools. 40 hours/week, full-time with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• 3+ years experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years experience programming in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis.
• 3+ years experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• 2+ years experience with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• 2+ years experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes across HR data.
• Develop and optimize data workflows for accuracy, quality, and availability for People Analytics and stakeholders.
• Oversee a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and guidance on best practices.
• Work closely with People Analytics to structure data for analysis, develop data models, and enable reproducible reporting in Python, R, and BI tools.
• Ensure data governance and security aligned with company policies and HR confidentiality.
• Collaborate with HR leaders, IT, and People Analytics to translate business requirements into data solutions.
