CVS Health is hiring a Data Engineer - People Analytics to develop data warehouse models, pipelines, and analytics workflows in cloud platforms. You will partner with HR leaders and IT to deliver reliable data for workforce analytics, enable reproducible reporting, and uphold data governance.

The role emphasizes mentoring, technical leadership, and collaboration across HR and business units, with a focus on security and quality in HR data handling. Full-time, 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2+ years' experience programming in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis.
• 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• 2+ years' experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery).
• 2+ years' experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes that integrate HR data from various systems.
• Develop and optimize data workflows for accuracy, quality, and availability for People Analytics and stakeholders.
• Oversee a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and guidance on best practices in data engineering.
• Structure data for analysis and create reproducible workflows that enable reporting in R, Python, and other analytics tools.
• Ensure data governance and security protocols in line with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and People Analytics to understand requirements and provide insights for strategic decisions.
