Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Data Engineer for People Analytics to design and maintain data pipelines, models, and workflows. You will collaborate with HR, IT, and analytics teams to enable accurate reporting and insights across the organization.

Responsibilities include leading ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and mentoring a team of data engineers, using Python, SQL, and cloud technologies to support workforce analytics initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Data Engineering
• 3+ years' experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and relational databases
• 2+ years' experience programming in Python for data manipulation, automation, and analysis
• 3+ years' experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• 2+ years' experience with data warehousing solutions (Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery)
• 2+ years' experience with scheduling tools like Airflow or Composer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage robust data pipelines and ETL processes that integrate HR data from various systems
• Develop and optimize data workflows for data accuracy and availability for People Analytics stakeholders
• Oversee a team of data engineers, providing mentorship and guidance on best practices in data engineering
• Work with People Analytics to structure data for analysis and develop reproducible workflows for reporting
• Ensure data governance and security protocols align with company policies and HR data confidentiality
• Collaborate with HR leaders, IT, and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver insights
