Job summary

PNC is seeking a Data Engineer/DBA to lead Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and MongoDB data services across production and non-production environments. Based in multiple U.S.

locations, you will design efficient database solutions that scale for enterprise applications. You will validate changes during releases, guide indexing and transaction management, and maintain runbooks and documentation to ensure reliable data access.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and query tuning.
• Experience with MongoDB data models and indexing.
• Experience with enterprise-scale, data-intensive applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional DBA for Oracle and MongoDB across environments.
• Collaborate with application teams on schema design and data modeling.
• Analyze and resolve database performance and data anomalies.
• Validate changes and ensure backward compatibility during releases.
• Provide guidance on transactions, indexing, and data access patterns.
