Odyssey Logistics in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Data Engineer to drive our enterprise data strategy. You will build, maintain, and optimize scalable pipelines, lakehouse models, and analytics data products powering reporting and AI/ML use cases.

Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and business partners across Sales, Finance, Operations to translate questions into data‑driven solutions. Hybrid work with on‑site Mon-Thu and remote Fri.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data validation across multiple sources.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and Spark; Java/Scala a plus.
• Experience with cloud platforms and BI tools for self‑service reporting.
• Ability to translate business questions into data products.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data lake/lakehouse solutions and pipelines.
• Develop production‑quality code with CI/CD and observability.
• Create analytics‑ready data models for BI and reporting.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations to identify high‑impact use cases.
• Optimize security, governance, and compliance in cloud data environments.
• Troubleshoot pipelines and maintain documentation.
