Job summary

Deloitte France is seeking a Data Engineer II on the AI & Data team to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for reporting, analytics, and AI use cases. You will integrate data across cloud and on-premises environments and ensure data quality and scalability for client delivery.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of ETL experience, Python and SQL skills, and familiarity with relational databases. This role may require some travel and is eligible for a project-based benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a similar quantitative field
• 0-2 years of experience working in Agile delivery environments
• 1+ years of experience in extract, transform, and load architecture and development
• 1+ years of experience using Python and Structured Query Language to build or support data pipelines
• 1+ years of experience working with relational database management systems
• Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines that support reporting, analytics, and AI use cases
• Building and optimizing ETL processes using SQL, Python, and data engineering frameworks
• Integrating data from structured and unstructured sources across cloud and on-premises environments
• Supporting data quality, validation, monitoring, and issue resolution activities for production data assets
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data models and improve platform performance
