Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) AMPS Data Engineering team is building scalable data pipelines and a unified canonical data model on Redshift and Data Lake. The role collaborates with Software Engineering, BI, Data Science and Product teams to continuously improve data infrastructure and tooling, enabling insights and customer reporting for AWS Marketplace stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have strong database design skills, comfort with large data sets, and a passion for data and analytics, with

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Architecture design and implementation of next generation data pipelines and BI solutions.
• Build and deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines to support business analyst, data scientists, and customer reporting needs.
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists and BI Engineers to design and deliver on high priority data initiatives.
