Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Data Engineer in Austin, TX to design and operate large-scale analytics data structures, with both real-time and batch ingestion capabilities. You will build end-to-end analytics solutions and provide BI-ready datasets to drive business decisions.

Required at least 3+ years in data engineering, with expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines, plus hands-on experience with AWS services like Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis and Lambda.

• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with AWS data services and tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, document and operate large-scale analytics data structures.
• Implement real-time and batch data ingestion routines using best practices in data modeling and ETL/ELT.
• Provide online reporting and analysis using BI tools and a logical abstraction layer across multiple data sources.
• Produce comprehensive dataset documentation and metadata.
