Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Engineer within Workforce Intelligence to design and operate large-scale analytics data structures and ingestion pipelines. You will partner with Software Engineers, Data Scientists and BI Engineers to transform data into usable formats for analytics and reporting.

You will work on implementing real-time and batch data flows, optimize the data warehouse, and enable end-user reporting via tools like Tableau or AWS QuickSight.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate large-scale, high-volume analytics data structures.
• Implement real-time and batch data ingestion pipelines using AWS and big data tools.
• Translate requirements into robust, scalable data architecture.
• Collaborate with engineers to adopt best practices in data system creation, validation and documentation.
