Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines and data models for the Global Sales & Operations teams. You will design and maintain high-volume data structures, applying ETL/ELT processes with Python and AWS services to enable analytics and reporting.

You will collaborate with machine learning engineers, BI engineers, and analysts to transform business questions into reliable data solutions, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics using ETL/ELT processes.
• 1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics using OLAP technologies.
• 1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics using data modeling experience.
• 1+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for BI analytics using SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, reliable data pipelines and infrastructure to support analytics, reporting, and business operations.
• Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume BI data structures for analytics.
• Build robust and scalable data integration (ETL) pipelines using SQL, Python and AWS services such as Data Pipelines, Glue
• Implement data structures using best practices in data modeling to provide on-line reporting and analysis using BI tools and a multi-source abstraction layer.
• Mentor junior data engineers and collaborate with peers on dataset implementations.
