Envestnet Financial Technologies, Inc. - Data Engineer II

Location: Berwyn, PA

Job Duties:

1. Deliver end-to-end data and software capabilities, including data ingestion, transformation, and data science collaboration with stakeholder groups.
2. Develop scalable and fault-tolerant workflows.
3. Document issues, solutions, findings, and recommendations for internal and external sharing.
4. Optimize performance for queries, pipelines, and dashboards.
5. Develop and deliver clear briefings to stakeholders on findings, recommendations, and solutions.
6. Test and validate applications, data pipelines, transformations, datasets, reports, and dashboards.
7. Develop solution architectures and present them to both business and technical stakeholders.
8. Provide end-user support to other data engineers and analysts.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience as a data engineer or in related roles.
• Experience in programming languages: Python.
• Experience with at least one database: SQL, NoSQL, or Graph.
• Knowledge of big data & analytics technologies: PySpark, ETL, or BI.
• Experience with version control systems: GitHub, GitLab, or AWS CodeCommit.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, including at least two of the following: EMR, Glue, Athena, Batch, Lambda, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, EC2, CloudFormation, IAM.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, e.g., Jira.

Additional Details:

Telecommuting permitted. 40 hours/week. Must have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
