The Data Engineer II will report to the Director, Software Engineering in Information Technology.

Duties & Responsibilities:

By collaborating closely with fellow product development team members, data engineers play a pivotal role in driving team success through the demonstration of the following key attributes:

• Collaborating with Users, Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to foster ideation and deliver cutting-edge software solutions.
• Gather requirements, understand business logic, and deliver reliable data solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain data transformation and integration processes to support business reporting and operational needs.
• Employ Test-Driven Development and Acceptance Criteria Driven approaches to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.
• Stay updated on new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment through continuous professional growth. Engage in educational opportunities, stay informed via professional publications, nurture personal and professional networks, and participate in relevant professional organizations.
• Contribute significantly to the team's and organization's overall success through effective execution of responsibilities.
• Keep abreast of best practices and tools in data engineering and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
