Envestnet Financial Technologies, Inc. - Data Engineer II

Location: Berwyn, PA

Job Duties:

• Deliver end-to-end data and software capabilities, including data ingestion, transformation, and data science in collaboration with stakeholder groups.
• Develop scalable and fault-tolerant workflows.
• Document issues, solutions, findings, and recommendations for internal and external sharing.
• Optimize performance for queries, pipelines, and dashboards.
• Create and present clear, compelling briefings on findings, recommendations, and solutions to stakeholders.
• Test and validate applications, data pipelines, transformations, datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Develop and communicate solution architectures and present them to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Provide end-user support to other data engineers and analysts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience as a data engineer or in related roles.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Experience with at least one database system: SQL, NoSQL, or Graph databases.
• Knowledge of big data and analytics technologies such as PySpark, ETL, or BI tools.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, or AWS CodeCommit.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and at least two services such as EMR, Glue, Athena, Batch, Lambda, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, EC2, CloudFormation, IAM.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, e.g., Jira.
