Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver modern data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analytics, data science and product teams. You will design, integrate and implement data workloads on-premises and support migrations to the cloud.

You will build scalable data pipelines, apply dimensional modeling, and optimize data warehousing using SQL, Python and PySpark across AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks and Snowflake, while maintaining data quality and security in healthcare.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS.
• 2+ years on cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks or Snowflake.
• 2+ years on on-prem data platforms like SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data warehousing.
• Experience with dimensional modeling and schema design.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and implement data solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Support migrations of workloads to the cloud and optimize data pipelines.
