Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high quality data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will design and implement data pipelines, support cloud migrations, and ensure robust data warehousing for payer data, working with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams.

Responsibilities include integrating on-prem and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), optimizing performance, and driving data quality improvements while owning end-to-end delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS.
• 2+ years in Cloud Data Engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 2+ years in on-prem data engineering platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data warehousing services.
• Dimensional data modeling and data warehousing experience.
• Troubleshooting data issues and performance optimization.
• Willingness to own improvements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data solutions for the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams.
• Support cloud migrations and integrate on-prem and cloud workloads.
• Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability of pipelines.
• Process payer files into the Data Warehouse and improve processes.
