Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and implement high-quality data solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work with engineering, analytics, data science, and product teams to manage both cloud-based and on‑prem workloads and to migrate workloads to the cloud.

The role emphasizes dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and proactive troubleshooting of data issues while delivering scalable data solutions for payer data processing in our Data

Qualifications

• 4+ years of SQL and relational DB experience.
• 2+ years in cloud data engineering platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
• 2+ years in on-prem data engineering platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).
• Programming in SQL, Python, PySpark for warehousing services.
• Dimensional data modeling and data warehousing expertise.
• Troubleshooting data issues and performance optimization experience.
• Strong communication and ownership in fast-paced teams.
• Healthcare data familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate, and implement data solutions in collaboration with engineering, analysts, data scientists, and product teams.
• Support migrations of workloads to the cloud and manage on-premise workloads.
• Contribute to the data warehouse processing of payer files within a data engineering team.
