Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to deliver high-quality data solutions. You will collaborate with engineering, analysts, data scientists and product teams in a fast-paced, agile environment, designing and implementing on-premise solutions while supporting migrations to the cloud.

You will work on processing payer files into our Data Warehouse, applying SQL, Python and PySpark, and leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) as well as on-prem data platforms such as SQL Server,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with SQL and relational DBMS.
• 2+ years of Cloud Data Engineering on AWS, GCP, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake.
• 2+ years on-prem data engineering platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata.
• Programming in SQL, Python, and PySpark for data warehousing services.
• Dimensional data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
• Troubleshooting data issues and applying performance improvements.
• Willingness to own improvements in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering.
