Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Architecture & Engineering team in the United States. You will design, build, and scale data platform solutions across Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, and cloud data warehouses.

You will work with a modern stack including Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, and AI-powered data tooling to help customers accelerate digital transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate complex requirements into actionable tasks, and ensure

Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing data engineering solutions in production environments.
Deep familiarity with modern data technologies and cloud data platforms.
Experience across data engineering disciplines including streaming, modern data platforms, data architecture, and AI-accelerated data engineering.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing components of clients’ data platform solutions under the guidance of a Solution Architect.
Translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks through design sessions.
Ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of development items for teammates and stakeholders.
Building data solutions using cloud data warehouses, distributed processing engines, and event streaming platforms.
Collaborating across data engineering disciplines to advance data platforms and AI-powered data engineering.
