Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Architecture & Engineering team in the United States. You will design, build, and scale data platform solutions across Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, and cloud data warehouses.

You will work with a modern stack including Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, and AI-powered data tooling to help customers accelerate digital transformation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate complex requirements into actionable tasks, and ensure

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing data engineering solutions in production environments.
• Deep familiarity with modern data technologies and cloud data platforms.
• Experience across data engineering disciplines including streaming, modern data platforms, data architecture, and AI-accelerated data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing components of clients’ data platform solutions under the guidance of a Solution Architect.
• Translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks through design sessions.
• Ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of development items for teammates and stakeholders.
• Building data solutions using cloud data warehouses, distributed processing engines, and event streaming platforms.
• Collaborating across data engineering disciplines to advance data platforms and AI-powered data engineering.
