Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Architecture & Engineering team in the United States. You will work in collaborative teams to design, build, and optimize data platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform technologies.

You will contribute to scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and AI-enabled data engineering initiatives. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of hands-on experience, proficiency in Python and Java, and familiarity with modern data

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing data engineering solutions in production environments.
• Experience with modern data technologies across cloud data warehouses and streaming platforms.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java; ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement components of clients’ data platform solutions under guidance of a Solution Architect.
• Participate in design sessions and translate requirements into development tasks.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of development items and support other data engineers.
• Build solutions using cloud data warehouses, distributed processing and event streaming platforms.
• Collaborate across data engineering disciplines including streaming, data architecture, and AI-accelerated data engineering.
