Job summary

Slalom is hiring a Data Engineer in the United States to design and implement data platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud technologies. You’ll contribute to scalable data platforms used by forward-thinking organizations, shaping the next generation of data tools.

You will collaborate in cross-functional teams, translate requirements into actionable tasks, and deliver high-quality data engineering solutions leveraging modern data tech and streaming platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing data engineering solutions in production environments.
• Deep familiarity with modern data technologies and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with data pipelines, warehouses, streaming, and AI-enabled data engineering is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement components of clients’ data platform solutions, typically under a Solution Architect.
• Participate in design sessions and translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of development items for you and the team.
• Build solutions using modern data technologies: data warehouses, streaming, and more.
• Collaborate across data engineering disciplines including streaming, platforms, and AI-accelerated data engineering.
