Job summary

AbbVie’s BTS IR group seeks a Data Engineer, AI Enablement to build AI-ready data products within ARCH. You will design scalable pipelines, curate data, and support knowledge graphs and ML workflows. You’ll work with scientists, ML engineers, and platform teams to deliver trusted data for analytics and AI use cases.

You will also guide contracted engineers, ensure data quality and governance, and help scale delivery while maintaining clear documentation and acceptance standards.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and operate production data pipelines and curated data products.
• Prepare data for analytics, machine learning, and AI-enabled use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate requirements into data assets.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AI-ready data products for ARCH data environments.
• Establish scalable data foundations for analytics, ML, and knowledge graphs.
• Provide technical guidance to contracted engineers and ensure quality standards.
• Monitor data freshness, costs, and pipeline reliability; troubleshoot proactively.
• Ensure governance, metadata, lineage, and documentation across data assets.
