Job summary

AbbVie seeks a Manager, Data Products & Delivery to lead ARCH data product delivery within the DELOS team. You will guide a blended team of data engineers and data curation specialists, setting priorities, coordinating multiple projects, and ensuring high-quality, AI-ready data products for R&D analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience; Master’s with 6+ years; PhD with 2+ years.
• Experience mentoring, supervising, or coordinating technical team members.
• Experience leading technical delivery in data engineering, data management, data platform, or analytics environments.
• Autonomy in delivery, prioritization across concurrent workstreams, and clear communication.
• Experience with Agile practices and Jira backlog management.
• Experience applying data quality, metadata management, governance, lineage, and data modeling.
• Knowledge of modern data platforms, data integration, ETL/ELT, Airflow, cloud technologies, SQL, data warehousing or lakehouse.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate priorities into clear data product plans and drive execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution for curated, reusable, AI-ready data products across projects.
• Coordinate with data engineers, architects, and platform teams to unblock delivery.
• Mentor and manage employees, contractors, and partners supporting data curation and delivery.
• Establish team operating rhythms, backlog health, and sprint ceremonies.
• Lead data curation decisions, metadata, lineage, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities and manage risks.
• Ensure compliance with AbbVie policies, governance, and security standards.
