Job summary

Akraya, Inc. is seeking a data-focused analytics engineer for a Mountain View, CA-based W2 contract. You will transform data challenges into actionable solutions, design data models, prototype data solutions, and drive data initiatives from concept to production-ready state.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, translating requirements, and partnering with engineering teams to ensure scalable data solutions. 9+ month contract with hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or an adjacent data role.
• Experience designing data models and schemas for analytical use.
• Hands-on Databricks and advanced SQL, able to profile unfamiliar tables and validate grain and joins independently; Git and Python a plus.
• Fluency using AI tools for research and building, and strong cross-team partnerships.
• Experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering, particularly supporting large-scale data initiatives and enterprise data solutions.
