Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Transportation Consultant to support analysis, planning, optimization, and execution of transportation across the supply chain. You will optimize network performance, partner with 3PLs and internal teams, and drive cost and service improvements.

The role requires strong data analytics skills, experience with TMS, and proficiency in Tableau/Power BI. Travel is expected 10–15% as part of a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Proven ability to manage complex transportation projects with timelines and budgets.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets and trend identification.
• Experience with data visualization and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across levels.

Responsibilities

• Transportation Network Data Analytics and Reporting to identify cost reductions and efficiencies using TMS and other tools.
• Lead and manage transportation projects from conception to completion within scope and budget.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and external 3PL carriers for alignment on strategies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate fleet performance and drive insights for leadership.
• Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure on-time delivery within financial parameters.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization across transportation operations.
• Proactively resolve transportation challenges using data-driven problem solving.
