Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Transportation Operations Analyst to analyze transportation data and identify opportunities to reduce costs while supporting freight payment and audits. You will work with retail, procurement, inventory, and logistics teams to optimize routing, carrier selection and load consolidation.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, KPI development, and cross-functional collaboration to improve transportation efficiency and save money for the organization.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in transportation or related field
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Access databases

Responsibilities

• Analyzes transportation data to identify cost reduction opportunities
• Examines carrier selection, route planning and load consolidation for efficiency
• Collects and analyzes transportation metrics including shipment volumes and costs
• Performs freight payment and audit functions ensuring contract compliance
• Manages relationships with carriers, forwarders, and 3PLs
• Develops and monitors transportation KPIs and provides updates to management
• Identifies continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costs
• Utilizes TMS and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility
• Collaborates with procurement, inventory, and demand planning teams
• Leads transportation-related projects and process improvements
