Job summary

Amazon seeks a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to drive safety program excellence and associate advocacy at our Greenwood, IN sites. You will lead daily safety audits, investigate incidents, and perform risk assessments while delivering engaging training that promotes a proactive safety culture.

As safety champion, you will collaborate with frontline teams and leadership to embed safety as a core value, leveraging data to influence best practices and sustain operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related background preferred.
• Minimum 6 months in a safety-related role at Amazon or similar.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 regulations.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel in professional settings.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive workplace matters.
