Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to advance safety culture at Greenwood, IN. You will lead safety audits, incident investigations and risk assessments while applying tech with human-centered solutions to protect associates and keep operations productive.

Required: knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910), 1 year in an EHS role or a relevant degree, and proficiency with Word/Excel; First Aid/CPR certification may be required within 3 weeks of start.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• 1 year in an environmental Health & Safety field OR a relevant bachelor's degree.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security or personal issues.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety programs with data-driven strategies and lead audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Advocate for associate wellbeing and coach leadership to reinforce safety culture.
• Translate safety data into compelling narratives to influence safety initiatives.
