Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; direct buying/analytics experience preferred.
• 3+ years in purchasing, procurement or similar role with cost analysis responsibility.
• Experience with data analysis to quantify trends and present decision-quality insights.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); experience with Power BI and Power Automate; familiarity with Python and data analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven sourcing strategies to maximize supply base efficiency.
• Conduct early design and Value Engineering analyses to optimize part design and manufacturability.
• Establish and monitor cost metrics to drive pricing decisions and timely payments.
• Negotiate with suppliers using data-backed analytics for cost savings and value creation.
• Prepare and present project dashboards for leadership reviews on targets and achievements.
• Lead annual price review activities with suppliers and align stakeholders on cost-reduction actions.
• Analyze commodity market trends to inform sourcing decisions and supplier selection.
• Track supplier KPIs and drive continuous improvement through data insights.
