Job summary

Toyota is seeking a Purchasing Analyst with a strong data analytics mindset to drive sourcing strategies in Saline, Michigan. You will transform insights into negotiation-ready recommendations and support outsourced supply base improvements across the North American region.

Responsibilities include cost modeling, scenario analyses, KPI tracking, and presenting dashboards to leadership. A hybrid schedule applies, with onsite Tue-Thu and remote Mon/Fri; 3+ years' experience and a solid analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in purchasing or procurement with cost analysis responsibilities.
• Experience with analytics, trend evaluation, and management-ready insights.
• Proficiency in Excel; fluency with Power BI/Power Automate; Python knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop data-driven sourcing strategies to improve supply base efficiency.
• Support early design work with value engineering and cost trade-offs.
• Establish cost metrics and lead negotiations using fact-based analytics.
• Monitor KPIs, create leadership dashboards, and communicate insights.
• Lead annual price reviews and align stakeholders on improvement actions.
