H&R Block is seeking a role at the intersection of Project Management and Business Analysis within the operations organization. You will lead projects to improve how work gets done, strengthen the technology supporting our teams, and turn data into meaningful business recommendations.

You will partner with leaders, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve problems, and deliver solutions from concept through implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with APIs, system integrations, automation, or connected business systems.
• Experience managing projects from initiation through implementation with timelines and priorities.
• Experience gathering requirements and balancing multiple priorities.
• Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Understanding of how systems exchange data to support business processes.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communications are effectively managed.
• Analyze operational data and trends using Excel, case management systems, and other reporting tools to identify opportunities for improvement and make actionable recommendations.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that provide visibility into performance, workload trends, and business outcomes.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand operational business needs, document requirements, and translate those needs into practical solutions.
• Support and enhance case management and operational business systems, including troubleshooting issues, coordinating system updates, and providing user support.
• Assist with the implementation, testing, and optimization of an employee service platform that supports tickets, chat, and phone interactions.
• Document operational processes and develop training materials that help teams adopt new tools and best practices.
• Identify and drive process improvements that increase efficiency, consistency, and service quality.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver projects that create measurable business value.
