Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks a Project Controls Engineer to join our team in Katy, TX. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, schedulers, and construction professionals to enhance planning, forecasting, reporting, and execution.

This entry- to early-career role emphasizes developing executable plans and identifying risks, with a focus on improving project performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related technical discipline.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Excel, Power BI, and other tools.
• Help project teams improve planning quality and execution performance.
• Organize, validate, and analyze project cost, progress, schedule, labor, and productivity data.
• Participate in planning workshops, schedule reviews, forecasts, and project performance discussions.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and inefficiencies within large datasets.
• Support cost forecasting, progress measurement, change management, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support development and maintenance of integrated schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
