Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an aspiring Process Control Engineer for a Summer 2027 internship at our Perdue Hill, AL or Monticello, MS sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, analyze data, and support data-driven solutions to optimize engineering processes.

Ideal candidates are current students in Chemical or Electrical Engineering, legally authorized to work in the United States and available to start full-time by Summer 2028.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
• Available to work full-time in Summer 2028.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements through data analysis.
• Support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to optimize engineering processes.
• Conduct research and provide recommendations based on data insights.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution in collaboration with facility teams and corporate resources.
