Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking Process Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 at the Port Hudson site in Zachary, Louisiana. You will gain hands-on experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment, tackling meaningful projects and taking ownership of your work while supporting safety, compliance and process improvements.

Eligible candidates are pursuing an engineering degree, with strong analytical and communication skills, and must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.).
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to relocate per program requirements.
• Enrolled and currently pursuing a degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or related Engineering degree program
