Job summary

Global-Lending-Services in Greenville, SC is seeking an Operations Analyst to identify and solve internal problems across Sales, Loan Originations, and Customer Services, including establishing credit risk decisions and optimizing processes.

You will develop Monte Carlo tools, apply analytics to improve customer experience, and gather market data to strengthen GLS’s competitive position while collaborating with management and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting ideas clearly.
• Internally motivated with initiative to identify needs and implement improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to influence others and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide improvements and modifications to business processes through analysis of risk, default probability, capacity needs, and internal cost efficiencies.
• Assist with building simulation tools for Monte Carlo analysis.
• Utilize analytics to drive business enhancements and customer experience.
• Gather market research data to improve GLS's competitive position.
• Assist with key control processes and report administration.
• Provide support for databases and applications owned by the team.
• Communicate and present analytical findings to management and senior leaders.
• Research and provide market data to maintain strong understanding of industry drivers.
