Job summary

Global-Lending-Services in Greenville, SC is seeking a Financial Analyst to support monthly and quarterly financial analyses, model updates, and liquidity forecasting. You will work with leadership to enhance reporting, analyze loan returns, defaults, and board-ready materials.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in finance or related field, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel. It is an on-site position with standard business hours and demanding attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of accounting and financial concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information and build cross-functional partnerships.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive monthly financial report showing results, variances to budget, and forecasts.
• Update the monthly financial report with timeliness and accuracy and add analyses as needed.
• Analyze forecasted loan returns by updating vintage economics analyses.
• Prepare monthly reports on defaults and recoveries for leadership.
• Maintain the Board-facing monthly financial reporting template.
• Create artifacts to improve financial reporting per leadership requests.
• Review external financial reports for accuracy.
• Maintain quarterly Board slide decks with financial results.
• Support Accounting in complex areas including gain-on-sale reporting and provision expense.
