Job summary

Evanston/Skokie School District 65 seeks an Academic Instructional Coach for Haven Middle School to support high-quality instruction through data analysis, modeling, co-planning, and actionable feedback to educators and administrators.

The coach will collaborate district-wide to implement research-based instructional practices, with a focus on accelerating achievement for Black and Latinx students, and will develop coaching plans with teachers to strengthen student learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven track record of increasing student achievement using diverse approaches.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educators and administrators to ensure high-quality instruction using standards and culturally responsive teaching.
• Analyze data to inform planning, assessment, and routines that promote engaging classrooms.
• Develop and implement coaching plans with teachers to improve student learning outcomes.
• Observe, model, and support instructional practices, classroom management, and relationships.
• Lead professional learning sessions and contribute to curriculum and program evaluation.
