Job summary

William C Keane Elementary is seeking a DDI Teacher Specialist to support teachers, students and administrators in data-driven decision making and evidence-based practices aligned with school improvement. The role collaborates with ELA/Math coaches, SBST/MTSS teams, and district staff.

The ideal candidate holds NYS Childhood Education or Literacy certification, a relevant elementary degree, and substantial PreK-5 teaching experience, preferably in urban settings.

Qualifications

• NYSED-aligned coaching and data-driven instruction experience.
• Bachelors or Masters in Elementary Education and NYS certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of classroom teaching experience in PreK-5, urban education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and administrators in data-driven decision making to improve instruction.
• Analyze school-wide data and plan improvements with strength/weakness insights.
• Model lessons and provide co-teaching to implement evidence-based practices.
