Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Rochester seeks a Senior Impact Strategist to strengthen the organization’s ability to learn from data and improve client outcomes. This role leads data collection, analysis, reporting, and evaluation across the organization and translates insights into strategic actions.

Based onsite in Rochester with occasional travel across the 12‑county service area, the role reports to the President & Diocesan Director and collaborates with executive leadership, program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, public health, or a related field, plus 3–5 years of related experience.
• Graduate degree (MPH, MED, MPP) preferred.
• Experience leading impact measurement in nonprofit or human services.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and narratives for leadership.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Passion for social justice and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise and hands‑on leadership to expand and integrate data collection, analysis, reporting, and evaluation for client service delivery.
• Lead design and adoption of tools and processes that support a culture of inquiry and data‑driven decision making.
• Translate data into actionable insights through data storytelling for executive leadership, program leaders, and the Board.
• Strengthen capacity to ensure services deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Champion a culture of data‑informed decision‑making and continuous learning.
