Job summary

Rochester YMCA is seeking a Manager of Data, Analysis & Impact to build and deliver analytics that help understand members, evaluate performance, and inform decisions. You will oversee data quality, ensure reliable data from key systems, and publish dashboards using SQL, Power BI, Excel, Power Automate and AI-enabled tools.

As a hands-on data practitioner, you will collaborate with leaders and system owners to translate business needs into sustainable data solutions and governance, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data/analytic field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience with structured data systems like CRM platforms, POS systems or data warehouses.
• Proficient with SQL, Power BI, Excel; familiar with AI-enabled tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel between local YMCA branches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize integrated data flows for quality, integrity, analysis and reporting.
• Partner with leaders to define KPIs and reporting needs for decision support.
• Conduct recurring and ad hoc analyses to identify patterns and inform decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards tracking membership, participation, programs, revenue and customer behavior.
• Advance data governance, documentation and reporting standards.
• Establish validation and reconciliation processes to ensure data quality.
• Support organizational data readiness through clear documentation of data processes.
• Help staff interpret metrics and use analyses for high impact.
• Attend required meetings and training and perform other duties.
