Gwinnett County Public Schools in Suwanee, Georgia seeks a Director of Human Resources to partner with school leaders on talent strategy, performance management, and workforce development. The role focuses on data-driven decision making and strong stakeholder collaboration to advance district goals.

The successful candidate will lead HR initiatives, coach leaders, and drive equitable practices across schools, ensuring effective recruitment, retention, and employee relations aligned with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License required.
• Current professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR) or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Organization Behavior, Business or HR Management required.
• Master's Degree in related field preferred.
• 5 years of progressive HR or HRBP or education leadership experience required.

Responsabilités

• Serve as strategic HR partner for principals and district leaders in the Instructional Support Center (ISC).
• Provide talent strategy, performance management, employee effectiveness, and recognition program support.
• Lead district-wide HR projects and change management initiatives; coach leaders on HR strategy and staff development.
• Foster equitable cultures and align HR practices with district KPIs.
• Collaborate with Central HR and other departments to meet business needs.
