Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, or related field.
• Valid Michigan School Administrator Certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Three to five years of successful teaching experience; school leadership preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum, instruction, assessment, school improvement, data analysis, Michigan laws, and state accountability.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff, manage operations, and build positive relationships with families and community.
• Commitment to educational equity, student achievement, family engagement, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership aligned with the school's mission while overseeing curriculum, instruction, assessment and data-driven practices to improve student achievement.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, evaluate, and support staff through coaching and professional development.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment by overseeing discipline, attendance, safety, crisis planning, and behavior policies.
• Oversee daily school operations including budgeting, scheduling, facilities, purchasing, and resource allocation using student performance data and improvement plans.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, leadership, boards, and partners to support goals and student success.
• Represent the school at meetings, professional development, community events, and other functions while maintaining confidentiality.
